A highly anticipated biopic about the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is reportedly in the works. But another nail-biting detail of the production was finding out who would be portraying the iconic singer.
It has been revealed that his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, will play Michael. Jaafar is the son of Jermaine Jackson, the brother of the singer who was also part of the Jackson 5.

According to Jaafar’s website, he initially saw a future as a golf player, but the entertainment gene seemed to be stronger. The 27-year-old was born in Encino, California, into a family of musical legends, and his musical taste shows.
His musical taste expands to an appreciation of film scores and a variety of musical icons such as Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, and more. Looking at his background, it is no surprise that Jaafar started his career when he was only 12 years old.
