We’ve become accustomed to certain Hollywood romance stereotypes over time. There are young, attractive couples who openly share their blossoming love on social media, co-stars engaged in secret on-set affairs while facing allegations of adultery, and older men in their sixties or seventies openly dating much younger, beautiful women.
We often passively witness these paradigms and accept them as the norm without questioning them. But Pierce Brosnan, despite initially fitting this stereotype, boldly and unapologetically defied these expectations.
To provide some context, Pierce has been happily married to his wife, Keely, for twenty years, and they have two children together. However, despite the apparent strength of their relationship, Keely has recently become the target of unjust and intolerable hatred.
